We have built in wardrobes, and mine happens to be on an outside wall, so it can get a little damp in there. This often means that it starts to get a little fusty. Not an ideal place to store clothes.
I was making something for another project (all will be revealed) and had some scraps of an old jumper left. I didn’t want to spen time on something really fancy, just something functional. So, I took two rectangles of the jumper, stitched most of the way round, and then filled this with some dried lavender I had kicking around after another project. I stitched the hole closed, added a ribbon and a pretty button. I even made another for the other wardrobe.
It really couldn’t be easier, it took minutes. If you haven’t got lavender, you can stuff it and drop essential oil on to the stuffing. No more fusty clothes for us!
